What's going on in the comic and what are you thoughts on such!? ^^
Suggested talking points:
-Speculation on the Sonic Unleashed adaption that is oh so subtlety(Pfft) being hinted at?
-Muttski? What? MUTTSKI? WHAT?!
-Dose new character designs
-Anything else yall wanna talk about.
Oh, also, not an official rule, but spoilering things until a issue-ish after release would be a nice thing to do.

I'm trying to get over the penders thing, but its hard to do. Especially since now the secret ffs have been literarly disbanded. On a brighter side, I'm enjoying the reboot so far.

I like the Sonic comics, especially under Ian's pen. However, looking at it from an overall standpoint, I found the old continuity to be a bit of a mixed bag. Under Ian's pen, it was pretty good, and many of the stories from other writers weren't bad, either. However, the old continuity also had its share of problems, especially the Dark Ages (though I didn't mind the Return to Angel Island story for the most part).
Despite this, however, I do miss the old continuity, and while I believe that a reboot might have come about in some form anyways, I wish it had done so under better circumstances. The reboot itself is pretty good, however, and Ian still does a good job with the stories, so I still look forward to the Freedom Fighters adventures every month.

So, how are the comics doing these days? Is anyone even following them still? I mean, the Sonic world has quite changed, but I dont wanna read all the comics just to know how...
Would someone be so kind to briefly explain what drastical changes were made? >.>

Would someone be so kind to briefly explain what drastical changes were made? >.> I'm still following the comics, but I haven't renewed my subscription in a couple months... ^^; I was gonna buy the back issues after Christmas and renew then, but until then the last one I read legitimately(I can neither confirm nor deny I have pirated issues I missed) was 263 of the main and 67 of SU. That said I'm enjoying the reboot so far. Especially what's going on in SU. Shadow, Rouge, and Knuckles sharing a story arch! Hallelujah! ^^b Addy outie |
