Figure I give the franchise one more chance before giving up on discussing it here.
This is the film produced by Micheal Bay, who you may know for directing the live-action Transformers movies, and directed by Jonathan Liebesman. Its cast is set to include Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, and William Fitchner as Shredder. The turtles themselves are being played by Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Jeremy Howard (Donatello) and Noel Fisher (Michelangelo). Not much is known of the plot, but if the trailer's anything to go by...it'll be a different TMNT experience.
The trailer can be seen below, if anyone's curious.
I'll be honest, I don't expect much from this film. The trailer is underwhelming to me. It may not be directed by Micheal Bay, but it has that unique Micheal Bay feel to it, which could be good or bad. The fact that Bay's involved also creates worries, despite not being the director. A part of me wants to see the film, being a Ninja Turtles fan and all, but another part of me expects to see a mess. I guess only time will tell, huh?
Thoughts?

It might not be awful? lol I don't trust Micheal Bay, but TMNT seems like the sort of thing he can't mess up with his signature egregious usage of "rule of cool", I mean the 80's cartoon only real value was rule of cool anyway, so at least it will be semi-faithful in tone. ^^; Besides Mikey's funny in this, with the "just a mask" thing, so it's got one point going for it at least. So it feels like a hurricane won't strike, but I'm seeing storm watch announcements on radios and tvs. Or in other words, I have high hopes, but low expectations...
